These paintings are created on textural stoneware ceramic panels. The surfaces are carved, oxidized, oil painted… many include inlaid glazes and 23K gold leaf.

There are distortions in the firing of some pieces that create a graceful floating quality. The paintings are mounted in a manner that creates ambient shadows.
